About Me
Braya Weaks is a current senior at New York University in the Gallatin School of Individualized Study. She is studying a mix of creative writing, psychology, and marketing. Her current Gallatin concentration is how race, feminism, and disability are portrayed in children books throughout history and how they have been marketed.

Braya has been doing photography since middle school. Her grandfather was a professional photographer. She was always shown his pictures and wanted to do the same.

She loves landscape photography the most, but also appreciates the creativity she can incorporate with portraits. She believes photography is an art that can go along with every other art and should be utilized to share the beauty in the world along with the ugliness; it's main purpose is to portray with little bias.
